One of the key features that sets our boots apart is our innovative Polar-XP insulation technology. Polarthin has been specifically engineered for use in performance clothing and cryogenic applications. This feat of scientific innovation does not require loft to insulate and maintain thermal insulation even when compressed to thinner than 1mm thick!

  • Up to 4x the insulation performance over Thinsulate.

Adding Insulation

  • If available on your boot, a layer of Polarthin-XP insulation is added to the vamp and in the footbed and then layered under a liner.
  • There is an additional customization option to have Polar-XP insulation added to the whole boot. This selection also adds a leather liner to the entire boot as it is needed to sandwich the Polar-XP insulation.
