William - Zuriick Collection

Always wanted a pair of high quality black heritage boots that I could wear with blue jeans. Just recieved the William Boot and am blown away by it's quality and heft. $600+ is a lot of money to shell out for a pair of boots. However, when you see the craftsmanship, leather, thickness, weight, outsole, dogger heel, stitching, labor, etc. you see why they cost this much. They sent a checklist of all of the main steps and the initials of every cobbler who worked on my pair. Ordered a 12.5EE boot in the 55 last and it fits like a glove. I normally wear a size 13 Wide in most every shoe from my Danner boots to my running shoes. But using the measuting guide from Nicks, I ended up sizing down a haf size and it was perfect. My toes have a nice amount of room (height and width) and I am not touching the end of the toe box. The 5-6oz CXL black leather is quite stiff and will need to be broken in, but I am able to wear them for many hours at a time. I have pairs of Danner Grouse hunting and Allen Edmonds Dalton dress boots, which were my main stays. While they are both nice boots, they don't hold a candle to the construction and quality of Nick's. I am just amazed at how heavy these are. Each boot weighs about 3lbs each so it will take some getting used walking around with such heft. I was so impressed by the William, that I already ordered a 2nd pair of Builderpros for all of my yardwork. You can't just have one pair of Nicks. A customer for life if they keep making their boots in the USA. Very appreciative on everyone at Nicks that made these awesome boots!
