I absolutely love the Shackleton leather on my new Nicks boots. The Tobacco color is fantastic. It has a rich, warm look that really stands out without being flashy, and I get compliments on these boots all the time. People definitely notice them. It’s a shame this color is no longer available because Nicks really had something special here.

The leather itself is just as good. Shackleton is noticeably supple and has been extremely easy to break in. It never had that stiff, fighting-the-boot feeling that you can get with heavier leathers. It feels substantial and high quality, but comfortable right from the start.

I also think it’s a perfect match for the 1925 last. The softer, more flexible leather works beautifully with the shape of the boot and makes the whole package feel comfortable and natural.

Between the Tobacco color, the easy break-in, and the feel of the leather, Shackleton has quickly become one of my favorite leathers I’ve owned. I really wish Nicks could still offer this color!

Beautiful leather, stiff to break in but warms up as it sits on your foot. Will patina beautifully.

I’m so relieved that they ended up being perfect fit. On the first and second day I wore them for 4 and 6 hours with no trouble. Something about the wait and the turnout it’s all a great journey and brings me simple happiness. I’m serious

I really like the look and quality of this boot!

Most comfortable sole boot (wedge)!! All wickett craig leather are stiff and needs more time to break in…but addind a wedge sole makes it super comfy to break. Double stuffed tobacco is a pretty leather and very versatile to combine with jeans, chinos, earthy tones etc!!

Boots fit great and look nice. I had my doubts with the sizing guide but they placed me in seemingly the perfect size.

These puppies get better everyday. I love wearing them around the firehouse and out on the job. I get compliments and my balls busted every day, they’re a hit! Comfy, quick to slip in and if they last for 5 years (hopefully longer) I’d say they’re worth every penny. Standby for the 5 year review.

Took a while to get these, but that’s just how Nick’s works and honestly it’s worth it. The craftsmanship on these is no joke — you can tell they’re made right. Leather is gorgeous too, real thick and rich looking.

Haven’t worn them yet — saving them for the Patina Thunder Dome this fall. Can’t wait to really put these to work and watch the patina come in.

If the wait time is holding you back from ordering, don’t let it. These are the real deal.

What else can I say about the Wickett & Craig double stuffed offering? Tobacco might be the most beautiful leather they offer.

This twice hot-stuffed vegetable-tanned leather is thick and stiff at first but starts to conform after significant wear. The pull-up gives this leather its amazing character.

Great boots, right size for me, good quality leather, boots looks sharp and nice. The only thing I altered was the heel box it was too high for me of course after knee surgery I’m trying to use low or no drop but they look good.

Well my son turned me on to your boots, he was really happy with a pair he got so after a second pair he wanted me to try some because he was so happy with your boots . So I was in need of new work boots so he helped me order a pair and the fit like a glove and the bison leather was easy to break in so far I am very happy with them

Such a gorgeous pair of boots. Size was right on standard for me. Fairly comfortable though they take a bit to break in, as expected. immaculate craftsmanship though, I’m very pleased.

Shackleton Cognac was a great choice for my Doc Wellington build. The leather has a soft, supple feel right out of the box. The color is great with nice pull-up and there is no break-in period.
