I really like that Nicks gave a permanent option for the key clips. I bought the first edition of them awhile back, but had an issue of the screw getting undone and falling off. This is an upgrade and are great.

These key clips are awesome, the leather is tough and beautiful, The brass screw adds a touch pop, and the clip itself is super easy to use and very secure. I get one to match every pair of boots!

Great leather, I really love how sturdy it feels. I know I'm going to use this for a long time to come!

This thing is a beast. The leather is super thick and the attachments are rock solid. The clasp is very secure and nothing is falling off this unit. The loop is also held together by a screw and slides over the belt rather than snapping on IMO making it even more secure.

Best key clip I have had and likely the last one I will need.

This little key chain is nothing more than what it set out to be, rugged and purpose-built. I got mine in brown waxed flash and its pretty sweet and I get compliments all the time on it.

I wish I had known it wasn’t a snap button, sometimes I wear suspenders and not a belt so it doesn’t really function without a belt. Other than that, it’s a very nice quality

This thing in the 1964 brown leather is absolutely amazing the pull up on that leather is awesome I’m getting a belt in the next coming weeks in the brown the clip is super sturdy and is the same leather that my boots are made of but the brass clip is superior quality to any other one I’ve had

I really am at a loss for words on this one. I ordered mine in predator orange to match my aldert striders that i had purchased about a month earlier. Despite the eight week lead in time for my boots that are delayed, delayed, and delayed again without explanation it is as simple as this. The belt clip has 3 parts, a brass clip, a strip of leather, and a rivet. While walking back to my truck after a hike in the woods (remember that) I went to reach for my keys and when I touched my truck key the entire clip fell apart on the ground behind me. Long gone was the rivet and my keys were left unsecured on my belt for a unknown amount of time. Fortunately this happened right in front of my truck where i was able to see them, I this were to happen and hour or two earlier my keys would have been lost and unable to be found. If you were to ask me, I would be pressed to find an answer to how a product was totally missed or there was a big overlook in quality control. As far as my boots, I find it hard to believe that after i purchased and paid for them on time and in-full that there is a lack of communication of any sort of up date or status. I specifically ordered the boot and color configuration in order to have them built and shipped in the 8 week time period. I understand that building a boot by hand is a time consuming and tedious process, but with that being said it's disheartening when almost weekly Nick's sends out promotions and deals on boots when i cannot even receive any information on my order. And once again, there is an offer to purchase my boots in the same configuration now for fifty dollars less because of a fathers day sale. Im not sure if there is just a break down in communication, lack of quality control, or a loss of focus as a company that seems to be introducing more new boots on a regular basis while I still struggle to find answers for my situation. This is unfortunate as I had high expectations from Nick's, as I do from your main competitor down the road, only I have yet to have an issue with them. Sorry for the honesty, but we are the ones who are spending their hard earned money on your products and company. As far as a review of the key clip? My plain and simple explanation is just like i stated it earlier, it just simply all came apart from maybe seven days of use.

my apologizes, I said the piece that fell apart was a rivet, it was in fact a brass screw.

I wanted something that would fit my 1 3/4 inch wide, work belt and actually hold up through the rigors involved in the construction trade. This key clip meets these requirements nicely. I thought it featured a snap closure but was surprised to see its fastened with a Chicago screw. Not a bad thing. These keys aren't going anywhere! This item shipped to my address faster than USPS estimated which is another plus. Highly recommended and working man approved.
