I now have at least one pair of Nick’s leather insoles in the 4 different gauges of thickness. They’re perfect for their stated claim of extending the life of the boot, but they also allow for micro adjustments in size and add a bit of padding to the footbed.. I’m a fan.

Brutal break in but after a month of wear they’re comfortable and look great.
These boots are great. The fit is good and they fit out of the box. Very little time was needed in order to break them in. The price is also much better than my last pair of boots (Whites Smokejumpers) with equal build quality. The one down side is the screw that sits underneath the ball of my foot. The screw creates a small lump that feels like there is a perpetual rock in my boot. It’s the same for both boots and seems like something that could be easily fixed.
Nice boots, but some slightly crooked stitching where the tops sew to the foot on the left boot near the arch (inside). Also the outsoles at the toe of the boots are not ground ( belt sanded) as evenly /smoothly as it could be. I am nit picking, but I recently bought a pair of Hot Shots that were made better and would give a 5 star rating.

Boots are excellent , I don’t write reviews at all but when I was deciding to make this investment I had hard time finding reviews. I am carpenter and have been dealing with heal pain and research lead me to custom boots. I typically wear size 13EE and i ordered 13 1/2 EE based on Nicks web site. I felt like they were too long in beginning but decided to keep them and as I wear them and breaking them in I realized that they are right size and very comfortable. I did add thin leather insole with thin rubber cushion insole advertised as boot breaker that helped dialed in fit. I have high arches and I did order their custom insole but still waiting on that but all in all I am fine with just regular for the moment. Thurman last or natural foot shape it’s must for me with wide foot and it’s what makes these boot fantastic, as stiff and supportive they are my feet and toes are never feeling crushed or tight. Boots are still stiff after four weeks of wearing them, very stiff in the morning and as they warm up with in minutes they become softer and very comfortable. I don’t have problems wearing them 8-10 hours a day since day one. My heel pain is significantly better, boots have really good support and they are less bulky for someone with big feet, some other boot manufacturers moc toe styles boots are much more clunky for me. Any way I Hope there is some helpful information here for someone looking for great solid work boots. I am very happy! Thank you
Goddamn! Thought it came from a dinosaur. My old belt looks skinny with this one. Wish I had a couple of extra holes though as I am losing weight. This need a proper break in.

Haven't worn it yet, but the shirt feels great against skin. This is not the cheap, ill-fitting kind of shirt that gets thrown into crowds or given away for free at events.
I can tell already this belt will last me a lifetime, but I’ll have my heirs come back and report at some future date.
