Great Chelsea boot, rugged, well built, 64 mahogany rough out, longer break in than I had assumed, but a great boot. 6 month lead time is a little tough to accept sometimes.

They’re perfect and they fit like a glove from the get go. They’re Nick’s… what else can I say? It’s my first pair in the TNW last and I really like the asymmetrical “anatomic” look. There’s something charming about it, almost like a beefed up version of my grammar school shoes.
Outstanding! It truly is a legacy piece. This will last 100 years.

Great, but not perfect. Thick, well-made, but the edges aren’t burnished making them very difficult to pull through belt loops. I have three of these belts (Weathershield Brown, MaxSupport Black, and 1964 Monarch) and all had beveled but not burnished edges. I used Tokonole and a burnishing stick on the edges and now they’re great. One of the belts took several weeks longer to make than they advertise - no reason given.
This is my 3rd pair of Nicks, but first build your own. Love them. A bit pricey, but worth it. You get what you pay for. Built to last. This will be my last pair of Nicks, for I have all that I want and colors. Highly recommend. Only complaint, is I didn’t get any boot conditioner or stickers like my others. Not a deal breaker😂
Wow! These boots are beautiful beyond words! They have beautiful stress marks that add character to the boot. Nick’s quality is the good standard!

I purchased thurman 55 lasted builder pros with the honey lug sole. These are the best boots, by far, that I have ever worn. The arch support helped relieve my lower back pain substantially. Break in for the boots wasnt too terrible, I wore the boots for 10 hours a days on concrete from day one and did not have any blisters form, of course there were hot spots but nothing unbearable.
This is my first pair of boots built on a "natural toe splay" last. At first I didnt like it since I like my foot to be secure in my boot but after wearing them for a couple weeks then wearing my HNW lasted boots, I did not so much like the cramped feeling of my toes, in the toe box. So, the roomy toe box does take some acclimation.
I wear a 9E in Nicks boots and already own a pair of HNW moc toe wedge sole boots that fit well. In my experience, the T55 last has more material on the uppers. When I tie my boots tight, the two sides of the uppers almost touch and do touch at the very top of the boot. This is not the case with my HNW boots. I will likely just order another kiltie to help take up some space, if it becomes more of an issue. Other than that, I like everything else about the boots.
I'm very happy with them, I prefer the pull-ons over the lace up
It's actually a 5 star but the way I wear out these soles is crazy! I go through a resole in just 4-6 months.
Other than that their work is great!
I took a pair of Whites smoke jumpers into Whites and asked them to rebuild the boot wiyh a comp toe and wedge sole and got an unequivocal NO from Whites. So I went for a short drive to NICK'S and I am so glad I did. Great build quality, and exactly what I asked for. Very easy to work with staff. I told them what I wanted, answered a few questions and 14 weeks later I'm walking in comfortable style.
When I first opened the box on this absolute tank of a pair of boots I was immediately impressed. I looked them over very closely, as I always do, and found the stitching and craftsmanship to be top notch, just about as close to perfect as can be achieved in a handmade boot. I have zero complaints with the construction or materials in this pair of BuilderPro’s. I got them built on the 55 last with natural edge finish in Max Support Black smooth over roughout.
I have put approximately 85 hours on them in the last 7 working days. I’m not one who wears them 2 hours then changes boots. Nope, I go all in. 12-14 hour days back to back until broken in. Which I’d like to say that the break in on these BuilderPro’s wasn’t NEARLY as rough as some lead me to believe it would be. After around 85 hours they’re definitely well on their way to being fully broken in.
To sum it up, I’m really enjoying my Nick’s BuilderPro’s and would definitely recommend anyone on the fence to take the leap. They’re worth every penny.
