Nicks utilizes an alphabetical size scale. D is the standard boot width for most footwear. B is more narrow and closer to the standard width of women's footwear. EE is a wider width option if standard width options are too tight for your foot.

55 - Classic Arch/#3 Toe: Excellent for those wanting good arch support and the ankle stability which is comes from being able to dig the heels into the ground. A safety toe can be added to this last (see our safety series boots). Same last used in our Ranger, Robert, Forester, Steel/Comp Toe boots). HNW - Moderate Arch/#3 Toe: Low heel and lower arch for flatter feet that don't need arch support and either don't like logger heels or the logger heel interferes with work equipment. A safety toe can be added to this last (see our safety series boots). Same last used in our Traveler, Falcon, Fire Trooper, and other moderate arch boots.

Hooks and eyes - Recommended. Classic boot configuration. Significantly increases lacing speed.

Brass - The most durable and classic option.Antique - Bronze in color. Brass base will shine through when bronze plating wears.Nickel - Brass base will shine through when nickel plating wears.Gun Metal - Blackish-Grey. Mat finish. Brass base will shin through when finish wears.

Black - Hides all the sins. Most common for black boots.Brown - Most common for brown boots.Natural - The most natural look. Default for light duty/dress casual boot. A inexpensive way to give a darker work boot some flare/color contrast. Default ink for Honey Vibram and leather soles.

The overall height of your heel stack may vary based on last, size and configuration. Heels may have to be sanded down to be level with the ground.
