Leather Insoles – Thick | Protect & Extend the Life of Your Boots

Good quality leather. I actually put them in my chuck Taylor's to tighten the shoe up. Now I can rock em barefoot. Very comfortable

Super solid quality, molded to my feet over time, and they’ve made my boots feel even better the more I wear them. You can actually see the custom footprint taking shape. Comfortable, durable, and absolutely worth it if you appreciate quality leather that breaks in and gets better with use.

Sized about perfect to fit my Overlander size 8 EE HNW last.

Needed some vertical volume filled and the thick version was able to do it. Didn't get to measure before putting it into the shoe but it was thick. If you just need a tiny amount, definitely go for the thin version first.

Quality of the insert is fine, sizing runs small so I would recommend ordering one size up. There was a gap of about 1/2" between the end of the insert and the end of the foot box on my size 7EE Ridgeline hikers and the inserts kept shifting around inside the boots. I asked if I could exchange for the next size up but since they had been worn, my request was denied. After spending over $600 on a pair of boots, I would think Nick could afford the cost of a pair of insoles in the interest of customer satisfaction.

Great insoles for my boots! I have used them in my StationMasters to add a little bit of volume so my foot fits better. I've used another pair in another pair of older hunting boots to make them feel new again! I'll have Nicks insoles in all of my new, used, and vintage boots: work, hunting, heritage, and cowboy boots.

So good on my feets

thick leather insoles as replacement for my worn standard insoles. Knowing the eventually for to your feet I was very happy to replace these with the thicker ones.

The soles are great.

I’ve only recently begun using a pair of these, but they seem an equal replacement to a set of Spenco inserts, and they should last longer. They definitely make a pair of boots with a V-bar sole more comfortable.

If one intends on using them, they should go up one size in width.

These are the only insoles I'll buy going forward for my shoes that are not athletic shoes. They form fit to your foot fairly quickly and stay that way. These thick leather inserts are the only way to go!

There good however my first pair shrunk after I accidentally left them in wet boots so please be aware however they do a amazing job at holding your feet in place in the boot do to them molding to your feet of course if you have high arches they won’t hold up you arch with out extra support under it I wear red wing super soles oddly enough you just need to slightly alter the toe if you have a 10.5e sized super sole boot

Speaking for myself, I have bought 2 pairs of boots from Nicks.I will never go anywhere else for my boots.

Good material, true to size length. The insoles are far too narrow though, and it makes them unusable. I enjoy when a leather insole goes up the side of the shoe ever so slightly, especially under the arch, but these had a 3mm gap on both sides. I wanted to put them in my Jim Green boots.

Ordered two and they sent one brown & one black. Needed to fill in some red wing steel toes that were slightly too big. Still breaking in but Work great

Worked like a charm. I intentionally ordered them a little oversize and trimmed them to fit like a glove inside my Redwing boots

These thick Nicks insole are the way to go if you need to take up some space in your boots. I have a pair in my StationMasters and another pair in some cowboy boots. I didn't have to trim much for them to fit perfectly in my engineers but because of the narrower waist of a cowboy boot, I had to trim a good deal more from the insole. But that's okay with me! I like the customized fit and they added just the right amount of leather for my boots to fit perfectly. I have also purchased the standard and thin insoles for some of my other pairs of boots, in standard and veg-tan leather. They are all awesome! I love the feel of fresh leather in my boots, even in the vintage pairs that I own!
