In a size 13.5 they're not very lace to toe. Came with hooks - website pics have all eyes - I hate hooks. They came with a stain at the front of one of the boots, doesn't brush out. Bit weird to walk in.
Other than that, all good. :-)
1964 Brown. no nonsense old school boot leather. Made for men that wear their work boots for all occasions and consider their boots their best pair of shoes. My home was in danger of a wildland fire last week. My wife and I received an evacuation notice to evacuate at once. What did I load into my truck? guns, rifle, shot gun, Benchmade pocketknives and the three pairs of Nicks boots I have. I had one pair on, so I only had the load the other two which saved me time to help my wife with her stuff. Fortunately, we did not lose our home or the other crappy boots I still have.
The belt is amazing and fits according to the recommendations.
A bit expensive, but upon wearing this it is a very sturdy and very well made tshirt that should last. Classic foot stomp logo on back and left breast Nicks logo look sharp.
Purchased the shrunken bison walnut kilties for my new Redwing Iron Rangers in the Amber Brown color. The contrasting color and rugged texture of the kilties complement the boot very well.
Love the outsoles very comfortable and I work in a hydraulic lab and the soles oil slip resistances I feel is better than the nicks wedge on my moctoe boots.
Loving them so far, break in has been semi-painful as expected but the fit and build quality blows a certain two letter boot manufacturer out of the water at a cheaper price for custom built boots.
They're great feel and fit, super comfortable. Only issue is they tend to slip around when I first put the boots. Probably still have to work on breaking them in all the way.
Only downside is I didn't realize how long I would have to wait for them to be made. Didn't see the wait time. So I called and the customer service was super informative!
Mine are HNW last, Max Support Black roughout, and are great for days where I have no idea what life is going to throw at me.
Work, appointments, impromptu hikes, dinner with friends, or bar hopping, it fits them all in style and comfort.
The combo of simple, clean service boot upper with just a hint of western flair with the luggy outsole and moderate block heel means it is ready for literally anything. Might be the most versatile boot I own,
The Chocolate Shrunken Bison is everything I hoped for: the color, appearance, and softness are off the charts. I used roughout for the foot and there was literally no break-in required. The texture of the smooth side for the shaft provides a great contrast and peaks out from under jeans and pants, hinting at the secret.
Wear to work everyday and threw some delta arches in which helped a lot. Can’t recommend enough.
Same quality as their boot leather, great way to add contrast or color to boots
This is my 5rh pair and I love them. Having a quality pair of hand made shoe is a must . After a long day onyour feet my feet still feel great .iam a nicks boots wearer for life
Expensive for what they are. Should be able to send back for credit towards boot purchase
Nick knocked it out of the park again just going to prove you get what you pay for it and their products are worth the money
Boots are beautifully made. Very comfortable. Remember that the THURMANNW last runs large, like a half to one full size from brannock.
Fit good right out of the box; these boots are very robust and should last a long time.
