This is my second belt from Nicks hand made goods. This one in the Black Waxed Flesh is on par in quality and looks as my 64 Brown. I'll be ordering a Gunslinger soon! Thanks Nicks!
They came out absolutely perfect! They fit wonderfully. The sizing guide worked well.
This is my first pair of high end PNW style boots, and they are tanks! I look forward to how they break in over time.
Very happy so far.
These are fantastic boots, very comfortable. I like the lower cut shank. These will be very comfortable when they’re fully broken in. I’m very happy with these boots. Nick’s did a great job!
This is my first PNW built boot, and I’m so glad I went with Nicks. The break in period is actually not bad at all, and when it does they feel so good on your feet. I’m so impressed with the craftsmanship, and the amount of leather used. I will definitely be getting something in black cxl next!
They’re a bit big but I do love these boots. Overall for quality and craftsmanship I would give 5 stars. My biggest problem is that they are a little big.
These are my first PNW boots. I did a good bit of research. I printed their size guide and measured my feet. I was just over the 9.5 size so I decided to go with 10. The boots stretched A LOT more than I expected. When I first got them they were a little long but not too bad. Now they’re def. a half size too big. If you’re on the edge and you don’t want a loose feeling boot then size DOWN. I know Nicks says they’re roughly a half size bigger, I measured just over the threshold, I could have consulted customer service but the number of articles, etc. I read made me feel more confident. Hopefully in a year or so I can have them resized.
They are supremely comfortable and well worth it. Great support and feel. I have flat feet and bad knees. No problem with either wearing these boots.
These Troopers are the second pair of Nicks Boots I own (I bought Falcons last time), and I am really looking forward to wearing these out and about once I have broken them in a bit more. I chose these boots in Cypress Italian Brown (same as the Falcons I own), because I really like this leather, and it ages nicely over time. The shape of the Thurman last looks a little weird at first - but once you wear the boots a few times, you begin to really appreciate the extra room in the toe box for the 'little piggies' to run free! :-) I absolutely love these boots, and already trying to decide which style to buy for my third pair. If you have been considering getting a pair of Troopers - just do it; I don't think you will be disappointed in them. Also, a huge thank you to everyone at Nicks for their input in getting these boots made, and sent out to me in Australia.
These boots are EPIC! Fit and finish are perfect and the Ember waxed flesh is superb leather.
These boots are awesome and the folks at Nicks are even better! Called with sizing questions before ordering and the advice was spot-on. This was my first custom boot order and they were responsive and helpful all throughout. The boots fit perfect and are getting better and better with break-in.
Most comfortable work boots I’ve owned.
I’m a mechanical and electrical contractor, so my boots see long days on concrete, ladders, rooftops, lifts, and active job sites. I normally wear a safety toe, but I tend to wear through the leather over the toe pretty quickly. With the FlexWork Pros I decided to try the soft toe, hoping the leather would flex instead of getting worn through at the edge of a safety toe, and so far it seems to be working.
The comfort is unmatched. The wedge sole, soft toe, and overall shape of the boot make them feel incredibly natural on my feet. They were comfortable right out of the box and have only gotten better with wear. I own several pairs of quality work and heritage boots, including other Nicks, and these are the pair I keep reaching for when I know I’m going to be working on my feet all day.
Five stars. I’d absolutely buy them again.
Excellent quality and it's fits great. I am 6'3 and 215 lbs. with a long torso and an XL fits great.
I absolutely love my new 1964 brown medium Suspenders! They nearly came ready to fit right out of the box. I may be looked at as a little bit young(at 39) to be wearing suspenders instead of belts. But, my Pop(grandfather) wore bright red suspenders that I always thought were super cool as young boy, and these 1964 Brown leather ones are a perfect complement to my Nicks Americanas and a remembrance of my Pop. Only “problem” I have now…..I may need to buy a black pair 😊🙌🏻
They are nice boots, but I think some of my other boots half the price are just as nice.
These aren’t just boots—they’re works of art. The craftsmanship feels like something from another era, when things were built by skilled hands, built to last, and made with pride. Absolutely incredible boots. Simply amazing.
The leather looks nice and is pretty sturdy. I'm sure it will agree well. So far so good for what I need the boots for.
