This spelt was certainly worth the weight! Not only is it ridiculously thick, but the leather is strangely flexible and usable lol the stitching on it is impeccable, and you can certainly see the craftsmanship that went into it. I got it in two of the colors it made me go back and order the third..!

Top Notch!!! This is my 4th pair of Nick's boots (different styles) and I ALWAYS recommend them to others. A billion times better than any boot I have ever worn. I have 3 season in the trades on 1 pair and it hasn't bee resoled yet. You could spend 300$ a year on decent boots or, you could spend 600$ and have them last 3yrs+. The choise is yours, but I highly recommend Nick's!
The belt is awesome. I did exchange it for a larger size. I like my belts a little bit longer. Built to last for a long time. It has that fresh leather smell even after about a month of wearing it. I love the feel and how soft the 1964 leather is.

Im not too happy.
Ive asked for 3 services and received 3 issues.
1 boot cleaning and refresh.
-My boots came back a different color.
-No leather boot care tracker was issued.
2 eliminate the sqeaking. Its so loud, frustrating and embarrassing to have this problem with this quality boot.
-Boots came back and still squeak. Noting ive tried condtioning the insides 4 times and I've tried powdering inside 2 times.
3 Resole V100 with Vibram Sierra
-the soles provided do not sit flat on the ground. It appears the centers of the soles lengthwise are sticking outdownwards further than the surrounding areas causing me to have to balance whil standing. This is not compfortable at all. Perhaps they will wear down evenly in time but before that happens im struggling to stand/walk with the wobble this has caused.

I really dont care about the color, lack of leather care card. But... the sqeaking and the wobbling is rendering the boots as unwearable. After paying well over 300$ this is extremely frustrating.
Nicks can something be done about the sqeaking and the soles?

Bought these for a pair of secondhand boots, the material looks like it's thick, robust, and similar to the 7"kilties I bought from them before. I'm looking forward to the protection these will add to the boot tongue.
I would love to leave a positive review for this belt but I have yet to receive it. It’s been two months since I submitted for a resize. I had purchased a few belts at the same time but this one for some reason has not been sent. I have called and emailed several times but have been told “we will update you as soon as we can” with no follow up. Strangely I saw the exact belt I asked for in the in stock section a few weeks ago but it apparently it wasn’t for me. I even reached out to the small leather goods guy on Reddit several days ago and haven’t gotten a reply. I’m pretty sure they forgot about me.
I ordered these in monarch and have really loved wearing them. I find them more comfortable than my red wing moc toe
These Ican boots are terrific! casual, outdoors, or dressed up, this style does it all. Traditional Nicks quality as usual, we all know the wait can be long, but when they finally arrive and you look at them, you realize that they were built with a lot of integrity.
The insoles fits perfectly on my americana. What I dont like is the squeak every step and it’s very loud. After a month of use the squeaking I decided to remove it.
It could have been 5 stars but the I need to put it to 2 because of the issue. I hope there is a way to solve it.
I received a pair of boots originally that was defective. I sent photo and video evidence of the defect and the customer service individual agreed that there was a defect. Upon receiving the boots back they changed there mind and decided they weren't going to exchange the boots as originally agreed and not only that, they decided that I would owe them more money if I wanted the boots back. After a month of them being disrespectful I finally got sent a new pair of boots that was also defective. I decided I'd just keep them regardless and that was a mistake, the first time that I wore them in the rain they began squeezing absurdly loudly. I oiled the sole as was recommended and it didn't help.
I thought I could handle full eyelet boots, and I could for the most part but everyday was five minutes of tightening the laces and then rethreading the top three eyelets so I got pretty efficient, but now these are instant on and off boots! The only one quicker is my station masters but these come off more fast now! Maybe I wish there were other leathers but I needed black anyways, shipping was free and quick so thank you nicks!
