Beautiful leather, supple from the very start. With some wear, it begins to expose the hairy rough out and has amazing patina potential, I think far greater than Horween’s waxed flesh (which I also own).
Didn't get to experience the leather because I returned the boots. But my house and car smelled amazing, can't wait for the size exchange
Well so far the 1964 Brown 7-8 oz leather is working out very well. I have only had my feet stuffed in these Moc Toe Wedge boots for a month, but I like the boots. I just put in an order about 3 weeks ago for a pair of quick ship Roberts with a request they be constructed in the 1964 Brown 7-8 oz leather. The Moc Toe boots I ordered to wear primarily a casual work boot, The Robert I plan to work on harder, and scuff them up a bit.
Perfect quality as always from Nicks! This was my third pair and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out!
The Spokane brown leather is really nice . The breakin is going well. It has a great feel and I'm sure it will show great patina . I'm very happy with this leather .
I didn’t believe the hype at first, but these 1964 leathers are great. Break in isn’t bad, and the variety of colors is nice. This tan is a little darker than I expected, but overall I’m happy with it.
Great belt that is thick, stitched well and is the perfect match for my predator orange boots. Impressed with everything that I have purchased from Nick’s and the accessories are no exception.
Thick and beefy slab of a belt! I love these 64 leathers! They're awesome! Ash Gray was going away, so I had to get in on it, in some form!
I love these things! I've got one for my car fob, one for the work truck, and one just to hang up and look at. The stamp design is very cool! And the leather is simply amazing!
I've been using these insoles in my boots (four pairs so far), and they meet expectations—made of high-quality, stiff full-grain leather with a natural break-in period. Initially, the fit felt firm, but after about a week, they started conforming to my feet. Now, they feel like a custom footbed, offering more support than cushioning. The wear pattern shows they’re breaking in evenly, with solid heel strikes, smooth midfoot compression, and no uncomfortable pressure points. These aren’t soft insoles; they are stable and long-lasting, ideal for extended periods on your feet. Overall, they don’t provide instant comfort, but once broken in, they’re excellent.
The screws worked perfect thank you very much for sending them to me
I'm not sure how to rate the lining of the boots. It is so thin, either it is unbelievably good or not there at all! Will have to wait for cold weather to see if it is sufficient or not. Boots are very well made.
These boots were amazing from the moment I put them on. Spent 10 hrs in my feet the first day, no problem! didn’t think it was possible, but they get more comfortable with each passing day!
I laugh when i hear noobs say, oh theirs no break in to certain PNW boots, any well made boot using these types of leathers and insoles, outsoles whatever they choose have a significant break in process, after 25 miles and couple days walking around the house these are starting to hit the sweet spot, so I bought these to see just how many miles a pair of these will last, i have them on my walking/hiking tracker and we’re gonna see if they hold up given the price… i will update after finishing, or wearing out the soles, 1 or the other. Great boot so far, if your into heritage boots….
These are amazing boots. I love the leather and the construction. Break in has been rough but you have to earn awesome boots.
