There was very little break in with these. After a couple weeks they loosened up and they weren't particularly uncomfortable prior to that. They look great and have excellent support. Undoubtedly my favorite boots now.

Must admit was a little afraid with the Minotaur Bullhide Brown leather that my boot would look like "Crocodile Dandy". But finally got them and they are simply stunning. Well build as usual, leather is supple but rugged in the same time and the Overlander last in 12 B fits me splendid. Once again Nicks you've mashed it and as always I'm happy with your products. The soft toe gives it a more rounded look and really love it. All good, all perfect, a happy and faithful customer.

There were everything I thought they would be. fantastic. So happy I finally pulled the trigger.

Love these boots. Quality and workmanship are exceptional. The 1964 brown leather is beautiful and is breaking in fairly easily. I cannot say enough positive things about these boots. Nicks is the industry leader for overbuilt, hard-wearing boots for a reason. These Overlanders will last decades and get better as they age.

As My first pair of boots from Nick’s, they’re great. Most of the fit and finish is near perfect and I was surprised at how well they fit out of the box. My only gripe and the reason for the loss of the star is because the distance the heel stacks extend to the rear on the boots don’t match up. In fact, the right boot sticks out so far that it looks like a spur shelf! I understand that because they are done by hand, they won’t match up perfectly, but this seems like a big difference to me. Maybe I’m being nitpicky, but I’ve never had a pair of bootswith heels that extend so far to the rear.

Excellent boots! Swapped to Nick's Boots because I was done with buying boots that would fall apart and be thrown away in a year. Now that they are broken in, these boots are the most comfortable I've worn during 12-hour patrol shifts. The style of hiking/work boots that the Overlander achieves allows for me to confidently wear this boot on the streets as well as in the formal dress. Additionally, I have issues with flatter feet, and these boots provide great support while walking roads, hills, and uneven terrain, and have even been good during running sessions.
I've not had a single issue with these boots, and expect to wear them for many years to come. If you are looking to have a good investment in footwear, this is the boot.

No surprise, but they exceeded expectations. I have a long journey of a break-in ahead, but I know it will be worth it. They’re serious enough for work, but look good enough to wear casually. They’re truly a versatile boot for anything non formal.

You can probably consider these one of the best constructed boots on the planet, after a lot of research and comparison with other boots companies I have no regrets. Though, practical and stylish. Those who know Know !

Probably the best feeling boot I've ever had i was a big danner brand guy before I bought these boots and had seen the quality and the design of these boots on YouTube my grandmother had always instilled the upside of good leather shoes and boots so I saved up the money to buy these they were a big investment to me I decided to take the plunge and I was quite pleased with them I was a little nervous about the lack of padding and no cushy insole but ultimately I wouldn't have it another way once you break them in they are amazingly comfortable the vegtan insole just forms toyour foot and the leather is just as comfortable if not more so than any padding

Worth every penny. Great all around boot for hiking and daily wear. Have yet to find anything they make that is built like a tank

I love them .My fit was right the first time and they broke in nicely . I think builder pros are next !!

WOW. Felt amazing right out of the box, and week 1 break-in has been a breeze. These are shaping up the be the toughest and most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever had.
So glad I dumped my JK OTs in favor of these. The leather is definitely a class above.

Amazing boot. Of course it is stiff out of the box, but still comfortable. Gorgeous brown color too. Very happy.
