Quality of build looks great, I will know more about the fit this spring when I start wearing this style boots again. Just wearing them around the shop they seem to be better!

I believe I originally contacted customer support because my right heel started to delaminate after a very short time of wearing my ND1’s. I was told to send both of my boots in for the warrenty work. By the time I shipped and received my boots back it was roughly a month. When I got them back I didn't wear them till mid December because I was wearing a pair of Artics because it was cold out. After getting my ND1’s out when the weather warms back up, I wore them for not quite a week and noticed the LEFT HEEL is delaminating……..
I know that with anything handmade there will/could be some mistakes. But what I don’t understand is after waiting almost a full term (my wife’s words, not mine) more quality control isn’t put into the process. I’ve spent more money on these boots than any other boots I’ve bought. And I’ve spent roughly a year trying to decide on what pair of nicks boots I wanted before the ND1’s became available again. I know there’s not any boot that is indestructible, but these are the furthest thing from it so far. I could peel the heel off like a Rose-Anvil video if I wanted to.
As soon as I originally opened the box I thought “man these are beautiful, I can’t wait to order another pair next year”. Now I’m not sure what the point even is.

I only need a heel replacement on a pair of boots but Nicks went above and beyond repairing an extra part free of charge.
Would go there again.

Just what I needed, new heels on my boots… although communication could have been better, the heel replacements themselveshave been perfect.

I had sent my boots in for a heel replacement due to delamination. I'd only been in possession of my boots for less than 4 months, and they're worn lightly as a construction owner's rep.

After nearly a month in the shop with no update, I reached out to see what was happening. The boots hadn't even been received in the repair department.....after a month.....

They needed to be located and physically walked back to the repair department....

Fast forward a few more weeks, and my boots are finally back home....and the heel squeaks with every step....

Not exactly what I was expecting out of my $600, "last pair of boots I'll probably need to buy"......

Heel replacement was superb. There’s a lot of attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship here.

I think you lowered the heel slightly as requested and they are much more comfortable thank you!

I just couldn’t get used to the tall heel stack on my new boots. So I sent them in to have a moderate stack installed. The process was easy and the work was completed in a very reasonable time. Workmanship looks excellent and I am much happier with the heel now. Thank you Nicks!
