We are introducing the new and improved BuilderPro HD!
This upgraded version of our classic BuilderPro work boot features a number of upgrades to create a more comfortable and longer-lasting PNW work boot:
- Instep Relief Cut
- This triangular cut just below the first speed hook provides more flexibility and reduces pinch points during break-in.
- Extended Asymmetrical Heel Counter
- We have extended the heel counter on the outside of the boot to relieve some common pressure on the cuboid bone area and provide even more outside support to prevent rolling your ankle on steep terrain.
- Padded Gusset
- We have added an extra sewn-in piece of leather that runs up the entire height of the gusset, providing more protection from the biting of the laces and making it easier to lace up the boots without having to fold the gusset.
- Large Logger Top Eyelet
- The BuilderPro HD comes with a larger top eyelet, making it possible to utilize that top eye for a traditional logger knot that prevents your laces from coming untied or snagging on brush.

Sizing
- Length: Our boots are longer than mass-produced footwear. With that in mind, we recommend going down a 1/2 size from your Brannock length. Example: If you normally wear size 12D, we recommend a size 11.5D for your Nicks.
- Width: In addition to length, consider the width of your feet when selecting boots, as most brands' boots are built with the standard D width. This measurement is typically more precise with a tailors tape rather than a Brannock device. Nicks offers a wide range to help fit your feet, with A-FF widths available in many of our lasts.
