Sizing
- Length: Our boots are longer than mass-produced footwear. With that in mind, we recommend going down a 1/2 size from your Brannock length. Example: If you normally wear size 12D, we recommend a size 11.5D for your Nicks.
- Width: In addition to length, consider the width of your feet when selecting boots, as most brands' boots are built with the standard D width. This measurement is typically more precise with a tailors tape rather than a Brannock device. Nicks offers a wide range to help fit your feet, with A-FF widths available in many of our lasts.

I originally got into Nick’s Boots for the Builder Pro. I was so curious on what made the boot so special. Starting in the trades in my early 20’s I realized that most footwear caused severe foot pain. I was spending way too much money on footwear. And by that, I mean purchasing two pairs of work boots a year because the support wasn’t there.
I had the privilege of purchasing my first pair of nicks (though not builder pros), the Moc toe pro’s, and fell in love with the relief from wearing them daily. A shipping issue caused them to never show up at my house but that didn’t stop me!
Nicks produced a Wirecutter in Max Support Black and I cannot take them off. They took 2 weeks to break in. Shorter than I expected. The comfort feels better than the Moc’s did.
I truly believe the 55 Last is more secure fit for my arch.
I have absolutely zero complaints. The boots are fantastic, comfort incomparable, my experience with Nick’s is through the roof.
