Sizing
- Length: Our boots are longer than mass-produced footwear. With that in mind, we recommend going down a 1/2 size from your Brannock length. Example: If you normally wear size 12D, we recommend a size 11.5D for your Nicks.
- Width: In addition to length, consider the width of your feet when selecting boots, as most brands' boots are built with the standard D width. This measurement is typically more precise with a tailors tape rather than a Brannock device. Nicks offers a wide range to help fit your feet, with A-FF widths available in many of our lasts.

Another beautiful boot. The color of that Pacific CXL is amazing! Really comfy right outta the gate.
An absolutely phenomenal boot! My stationmasters were comfy out of the box, they look great, totally worth the wait. One thing I was glad I did was size down one full size from usual brannock size which is a 10.5D; I sized down to a 9.5D with the stationmasters. I did my research and apparently that’s the best move since they are a slip on boot and fitted fit is preferred to minimize heel slip. Overall i recommend them! These were also my first boot from Nicks, glad I went with them as my first pick.
Tough, beautiful boots.Couldnotbehappier
While the leather is gorgeous, the finish on these boots just aren't up to Nick's usual standards. I had to send them back in for a warranty repair, as the heel stack was already separating. There are also a lot of rough spots on the sole of one boot, as if if wasn't finished being sanded. All in all, they're close enough, but not quite what I was expecting.
Great looking and great fitting boot. They were worth the wait.
Love the boots just a little bummed by the scratches and breakage of the threads on the inseam.
The fit is perfect. The post office did not trash the box. The picture is brown so I assumed the boots would be as well. However, black is more appropriate for an engineer boot. I have applied 2 coats of protective wax thus far. Thank you.
Nicks knocked these boots out of the park! This was my wife’s first pair of boots that she has ordered from Nicks, we didn’t over think the measuring guidance and nailed her size in the first try. We followed the sizing guidelines, measured twice and because of other reviews, sized down a half a size since these are pull on boots. Her foot made that delightful thunk when she got them on the first time. She walked around the house for about 30 mins with a huge smile on her face. I knew we had nailed the size. Now she is making me find places to take her she can wear her new boots too and be able to show them off. Sturgis, here we come!
