Field Tote - Factory Seconds

Our mistake. Your gain.

These Field Totes are factory seconds. They may have a few extra scuffs, marks, or other minor cosmetic imperfections compared to our standard bags, but they're still built from the same rugged materials and made to be used hard.

The main difference with this batch is how the handles were attached. The handles were riveted into the base of the bag but were not sewn into place as intended. While this isn't our normal construction, the rivets provide a strong, secure attachment and will not affect the strength or durability of the bag. The stitching was purely cosmetic.

In other words, they're not perfect.

The Field Tote is built from 5.5oz Desperado Cinnamon, a rugged brown waxed leather with lighter undertones and a whole lot of personality.

Waxed leather is one of our favorites because it doesn't try to stay perfect. As you use it, the surface starts to rough up, the fibers get a little fuzzy, and the color gets lighter in all the right places. Its patina and wear will be unique to you.

The Field Tote takes inspiration from the simple utility bags once used to carry maps, notebooks, tools, and daily essentials. Built from rugged materials and designed without unnecessary extras, it's the kind of bag that gets better with every year of use.

This one is sewn with tough polyester thread, finished with solid brass hardware, and built with thick 1964 Mahogany leather handles. The adjustable handles let you shorten them for a traditional hand carry or lengthen them for a comfortable shoulder carry.

A large exterior pocket keeps your most-used items within easy reach, while the open interior gives you plenty of room for everything else.

This is not a precious bag. It's a throw-your-stuff-in-it kind of bag.

Use it hard. Toss it around. Let it scuff, soften, and lighten up. That's the whole point.
