25V-2 10” NFPA
General – Hand lasted, 10” high, black, leather lace-up style boots. Full-grain, water resistant leather upper. Vibram® lug outsoles, fully resoleable and rebuildable. Anatomically correct arch support designed to closely simulate the natural form of the foot and to distribute body weight evenly among the heel, arch and ball of the foot. The arch feature helps minimize foot and leg fatigue as well as lower back pain attributable to inadequate foot support. Custom Fitting, made to measure special foot and leg patterns available.
Upper – Firm, full grain, water, flame, chemical, and cut resistant 7 ½ – 8oz thick oil tanned leather. Available to build 10”, 12”, 14”, 16” Uppers (Custom Leg Pattern required above 12”)
Thread – Sewn with Fire resistant, tough, Technora self extinguishing thread.
Pull Strap – ¾ inch full grain, water, flame, chemical and cut resistant leather.
Hooks & Eyes – Lacquered military style brass replaceable hooks and eyes.
Tongue – 3 to 4 oz., oil tan tongue gusset leather.
Vamp – 7 ½ – 8oz oil tanned vamp (Toe Leather).
Vamp Liner – 3 to 4 oz., vamp side liners for added strength.
Heel Counter – Oak tan heavy leather heel counter for maximum ankle support.
Insole – 10 ½ iron insole, treated for sweat resistance.
Midsole – 10 iron full oak tan leather midsole.
Slipsole – 8 iron rubber slipsole to ensure proper outsole bonding.
Leather Arch Shank – 10 – 11 iron, hand carved all leather arch support.
Leather Shank Cover – Heavy duty 10 – 11 iron all leather shank.
Heel Base – Layered, oak tan leather heel bases, fastened with 12 gauge square nails.
Outsole – Vibram® Red X Fire lug outsole with coordinating Vibram® rubber heel cap, screwed soles.
