The boot’s toe caps are different shapes and there are holes in the midsole that were intended for threads, but are empty.

These boots are so awesome. have a pretty good sized boot collection and these are now my favorite boots. I love the build quality and the black waxed flesh combined with the brass hardware just really pops. I will definitely buy another pair of Nicks. The one thing I wish is that the tongue/gusset came with a matching leather in the Americana. It looks good with the black waxed flesh but there are a couple other leathers I am interested in that are lighter leather color so I may go with the Ivan on that pair so the tongue color matches.

One of the highest quality boots that I own, and I would highly recommend this boot to others as I've tried a number of competing products over the years. I'm glad I finally went with Nicks. I was an Iron Ranger fan for years, but these are simply higher quality and build. Of course they cost more, but well worth it.

The finishing quality left a lot to be desired. Disappointing. Returned for a refund.

Received my boots on Monday, much quicker than I thought! I have to say, and I know I've only had them three days but these might be the best boots I've owned. There were comfy from the outset, I've had absolutely no break in with them at all, apparently the 64 leather is really good for minimal break in. I have a pretty high instep so I had to go for a wider fit, I recon I could have gone a half size down, I've had 10D in iron rangers so I went for 10EE, the extra width means I could have gone down a half size but they are still super comfy. Im in the UK so I would rather they were half size too big that too small! They are beautifully made and are already my favourite boots! I had several emails with Nickolus before I ordered and to be honest he couldn't have been more helpful. Great experience, great boots, great company. What more can I say, thanks to everyone at Nicks

Awsome! boots look great, feel great, fit great im an Aussie so I had to take a "gamble" on sizing and using the supplied sizing chart and cross checking with my bannock size (half size down). Perfect! Wouod recommend very highly and will be purchasing again! Belt (heritage style) is also build like steel beam but doesn't wear like one, very comfortable and stylish. Would also highly recommend.

Could not believe it when these showed up as a Quick Ship option.One of the few QS options with a toecap. Really makes it IMO. Predator Orange is great in real life too!

Great boots, as in the setup. No pull loop and the toe cap really make it. Would recommend, have both PWF and PO. If you’re wavering treat yourself!

I laugh when i hear noobs say, oh theirs no break in to certain PNW boots, any well made boot using these types of leathers and insoles, outsoles whatever they choose have a significant break in process, after 25 miles and couple days walking around the house these are starting to hit the sweet spot, so I bought these to see just how many miles a pair of these will last, i have them on my walking/hiking tracker and we’re gonna see if they hold up given the price… i will update after finishing, or wearing out the soles, 1 or the other. Great boot so far, if your into heritage boots….

After a lot of YouTube videos and research I choose the Nick's Americana to replace the Iron Rangers I've been wearing. Things they should do and tell you on there website and YouTube channel. 1: The stichdown stitching can be uneven and crooked. 2: When the balance the boot you're going to get a different heel than the sole that they have on their websit. 3. Expect marks from sanding on their boots. Nick's should advertise real world examples of their boots to help save some confusion of over all quality.

Amazing boots that are built extremely tough and will last a very long time. Looks good enough to wear at a wedding while tough enough to work on a job.
