I have been wearing the boosts for several days now, and while it is taking some time to break them in, they are the most comfortable pare of boots/shoes I have ever owned. They have also earned me compliments from my fellow firefighters.

My second pair of Nicks I went with the Thurman black max leather and I love the thickness of the black max and the Thurman design is awesome! I may never go back to the traditional toe splay.

Best boots I’ve ever owned and will ever need!

The boots looked great and have been serving me well out on the fire line!

The mahogany leathers color was nice.
I had expected that the leather used on the boots would be thick and more stiff.

25th fire season and have tried multiple other brands of boots. NICKS by far are the best boots money can buy. Quality, comfort, and craftsmanship.

These are well-built fire boots. One fire assignment so far and they're still looking brand new. I had a similar pair that lasted a very long time and I'm guessing this pair will be the same story.

1964 Brown has been soft, durable and easy to break in. The color is extremely bright at first and it has a polished look that makes it look a little rubbery at first. With time I think it will develop an excellent weathered look.

So far so good, custom fit at the Spokane store and the boots got built and came quick. Now the break in begins…

So far this leather is great. Breaking in nicely, and seems to not get saturated.

Comfortable out of the box so far! I used the print-out sizing sheet and have found the fit to be accurate. Boots arrived well ahead of schedule and in time for the season.

These boots are the most comfortable thing i have put on my feet. Comfort from the minute I laced them up.
