Nick’s did an awesome job on the resole of my tactical boots. I tried to have it done locally here in Wyoming but the Sierra sole started to delaminate within a few wears! This time I decided to try the Nick’s Wedge sole in black and so far they feel great, more like a sneaker. Additionally, I have been wearing them for two weeks straight and no issues.

So glad I went with the honey vibram soles. Far better for long days on concrete floors than the standard v100! Should have done it sooner

You did a very nice job on the Boots, was told you weren’t sure if you would be able to redo the soles, and might have to do a complete rebuild on them. Very pleased with the end result.

My nephew is a boot horse just like me and he mentioned that he needed to get the resole done soon as he hates to be without his Nicks. He is such a great nephew to me and son to my brother that I told him that I would take care of it for him. As a dad and uncle, you want to give examples of how to be a good man/person to those you care for, same as Nicks. Give folks a quality product and they will never settle for the best for themselves. The quality of work was good however it took five months to get the boots back.I had to send the boots back the first time because a rubber bottom was installed on a wildland fire boot that had a vibrum sole on it.

Considering the price ($200+) I was overall disappointed. I was hopeful that the squeak that developed over time would go away as it seemed to come mostly from the heel area. Now the squeak seems to be coming from the soles themselves as I can feel slight shifts in the different layers (mostly on the left boot) as I walk. My other complaint is that when new, my Builder Pros had stitching all the way through the outsole and the image on the order page for the replacement outsole also showed it, my resoled boots did not. When asked about it, I was told that the stitching wasn't needed as the adhesives do 90% of the work and the stiches get walked through in time. I know it would be overkill for my needs, but I was still expecting it. I wanted "good as new" resole (which is what I thought I was paying for) and I instead received "good enough". While the boots are still great, it makes me lean towards going with someone else the next time I buy a new pair of boots.

Resole went as expected, had the boots back like new in a few weeks time. No issues with stitching or sole adhesion in a month of wear.

Excellent quality of the work on the sole. Delivery was on the quick side of the stated lead times. Just wish it was a bit less expensive.

Love my boots best iv ever had, so I obviously had to get them resoled... definitely not cheap, but when you count it was spending $200 on boots that last 9 months these are well worth it.

I'm on the fence with the resole.

I love my Nicks boots, and the resole was completed inside the stated lead time, but the boots came back single welted instead of double and they both squeak with every step. They never made a noise before the resole. It's been a few weeks, I've tried cedar trees, etc, rotating pairs, but I'm full squeak all the time post resole.

Like most Nick's stories you read, I have multiple pairs, and got into them for the repairability, but this was my first resole and I'm disappointed with the results.

I bummed. Customer service's response was "that's how it is". I feel bad about it and walk around all day squeaking with every step.
