Awesome Belt

I've bought so many cheap leather belts over the years. Occasionally I've been lucky enough to find one that'll last for two or three years but none of my previous purchases hold a candle to this thing. The leather is of a much higher quality and is twice as thick as my regular heavy duty leather belts without being overly stiff. I understand that a lot of people will balk at spending $100 on a belt but this is a case of you get what you pay for and a fair bit more besides. You've seriously got to hold this slab of leather to believe it. If you're on the fence or just looking to get something nice while you wait for your boots to come in than I'd say go for it. This belt's bullet proof.

Screw Fell Out

I've had this belt for 4 months now. This is my first 1.5" belt and it's been great. Fits in the loops on just about every pair of pants that I wear. The leather is solid and the black finish on the hardware is still factory fresh. Not even a scratch on it despite daily wear. It also performs well as a CCW gun belt.

Yesterday one of the Chicago screws fell out of the belt. Luckily I noticed the pieces laying on the floor before I walked away. I think the screws being used are too long. They do not compress the leather and actually stick up proud of the leather. This seems to allow the screws to spin and loosen up. I may have to Loctite them for peace of mind. Also since they stick up proud, when I slide the tail of the belt through the belt loop it can actually hang up briefly on the head of the second screw. It's a minor annoyance, but it is an annoyance.

Overall this belt will last me a lifetime I'm sure, it looks fantastic and the black finish is holding up perfectly. The Chicago screws are the only weak point imo.
