You really have to hold one of these boots and wear them for a few days to understand the unparelled quality of these boots. Sturdy with style. i have had several pairs of handmade boots in my life and nothing has compared to the rugged nature of these boots. I will never be without a pair or two of these boots! I cannot reccomend these boots enough!

As someone with high arches, rheumatoid arthritis and ankle injury finding footwear that provides proper support and comfort has always been a challenge. I have had my Roberts for three days. They are incredible. I shoe horses and am a Brand inspector for the State and I think these boots will never wear out. Incredibly sturdy, not a stitch out of place, and already feeling great with more to come! Outstanding!

This boot changed my life. I'm on my feet all day and put in 30k + steps regularly. I've tried many high quality boots over the years, and some were pretty darn good, but none of them come close to the Robert.



My lower back and feet NEVER hurt at the end of the day, it's literally a miracle. The support of the sole, the heel shape/angle, and the overall construction is IMHO unrivaled.



If you feel that these are expensive I'd agree except they will last you decades. Do that math and consider them a bargain.

The Robert model I believe is one of the company's best sellers for the following reasons:

First, the Robert is produced on a Last that will likely fit lots of different foot shapes. The Last combined with the availability of width sizing means an excellent fit for you is attainable.

I've found the 5/8 " standard heel height works together with the arch built within the boot's footbed to give my body sensational support for long distance walking. My natural walking habit is to have the back of my heel land first ; however the angled (dogger style) heel of the Robert has naturally altered my technique so that the ball area of my foot is now landing first, and that is a good thing.

The stock specifications of the Robert model include thick Chromexcel ,which won't have grain break -creases-wrinkles-stretch like the relatively thin CXL used by other footwear brands . And the Robert's standard Vibram V-700 rubber outsole with Quabuaug rubber heel cap is the good quality, highly stuff that is comfortable, relatively quiet, and durable.

I consider the Robert to be a well thought out good sense design which promotes proper posture and good walking technique.
