Speechless

Just arrived….my first Nicks, they had a big journey, Spokane to Italy.

During these 6 months waiting, I saw so many post, video, and whatever was concerning the world of PNW handmade boots, and I was transported into it. Guys whatever you see or read about this Nicks boots, you cannot understand what it means, until you get it. They are speechless, the quality and the structure of the construction and the leather are looking they will last forever….thanks Nicks for the great experience…

I just set 4 stars on price cause the shipment and custom prize increased sensibly the purchase.

You get what you pay for.

It wasn’t easy shelling out nearly $600 for a pair of boots, but boy am I glad I did. I don’t anticipate having to replace these for a very long time, as I’ve had them for 2 years now and they are still in great shape. I make sure to clean and oil them regularly and I’ve never had any problems. The only minor “issue” is that the piece of leather which your foot touches as it hits the sole starts to peel back after 6-12 months of regular use. I’m guessing it could be glued back down fairly easily, though. All things considered, though, these are far and away the best pair of footwear I’ve ever owned.

Happy !!!

I have just received my pair of 1964 leather overlanders.

The first impression when opening the box is the massive appearance of the boots. We immediately see that these are shoes for outdoor work. The leather is really beautiful, both soft and warm. For the size I took 1/2 size below the usual size but I chose the width E, well it's just perfect. You will have understood, I am very happy with this pair of boots.

A big thank you to the entire Nicks boots team.

The BEST

I've had a LONG history of trying out boots and foot problems to go along with that. From the cheap, mass produced boots, to the Nick's and some of their competitors. The Overlander, by Nick's, is BY FAR the best boot I've ever owned and worn! The attention to detail, quality, and fit are unparalleled. I HIGHLY recommend these boots to anyone, be it the construction site, the office, the forest, or some occupation in between. I now own two pair and will be ordering a third very soon.

Awesome

I watched several YouTube channels discuss these boots (shout out to Rose Anvil) and thought long and hard about making a purchase. As a resident of Scotland I was cautious as America uses different shoe size conventions, even different size paper leaving me unable to use your size guide with confidence. I used a measuring tape and conversion charts to get the correct size.

I eventually went for it and ordered 1964 brown Overlanders. They arrived 2 days ago. I wore them all day yesterday.

Thoughts:

1. Your customer service is first class. Truly, you should be proud of your colleagues, Nicks.

2. My error, but I forgot to add import taxes to my calculation of cost. I'll know better next time. Not a fault with Nicks, more of a reminder for any other UK based customers.

3. The quality is superb.

4. I wore them all day yesterday. They were quite tight around the top of my foot at first but had "relaxed" enough by lunchtime that they were pain free.

5. Not broken in yet. Not even close, but they are much more comfortable than I had expected at this stage in the process

6. I'm back here browsing for my next pair.

I guess point 6 tells you all you need to know, really..
