Great boots, recently received and have been wearing them for 96hrs now, I personally do not think the break in period is that bad, been doing line work for 27years now, had foot surgery on both feet over the last year and decided it was time to buy the best work boots I could find, out of all my research I decided on nicks and I am glad I did, into the 2nd week of wearing them I feel as though they are definitely molding to my feet, I figured another week or two and they will fit like slippers, I actually prefer to wear them now over my tennis shoes, thanks for a truly great boot

I have had my boots for a couple weeks now and I'm very pleased with them! Excellent quality and built very rugged and clean. My only downfall with the boots was the process of getting them. They ended up taking a total of 32 weeks to get the right pair after sending me the boots built incorrectly not once, but twice. I waited 12 weeks extra from the original 16-20 week wait period. You would thing for spending $600+ dollars on a pair of boots, they would at least take the time to make sure the customer is getting what they ordered at the very least. Again, this was my only problem with them, so I'll still leave a good review on the boots themselves because they are top notch quality and I look forward to them lasting many years.

I have two pairs of the Nicks lineman boots, each I did the custom fit order. Each are awesome boots, extremely comfortable, craftsmanship of boots is of highest quality. I wear the boots everyday for a minimum of 12hrs and my feet feel great after each day, whether I am on the ground all day doing different work or have my hooks on, on a pole for hours the boots do there job and protect my feet while remaining comfortable. If you are in the line work trade I highly recommend these boots!! Do the custom fit to order, its worth the extra money. And they have any color of leather you want, just call Nicks the customer service is fast and very helpful.

I sent in a fit sheet back in 2014 and had a pair of 12" line boots built. They sent me a pair of Hotshots to try on, and followed up with a phone call to discuss the fit. After I sent the try-on pair back, I received my boots about 8 weeks later. They were a tough break in, which I attribute to Nick's using better leather than other companies, but after they were broken in, there's nothing better! This is my 4th season in these boots, and the soles are starting to look a little worse for wear. Aside from that if you keep them oiled up, and clean them occasionally, you'll get many years of use from these boots! I plan on having another pair built, so I'm not without when these finally need to be rebuilt! I highly recommend Nick's for quality and customer service.
